Pengontrol Lampu Blencong Menggunakan Nodemcu ESP8266 Berbasis Aplikasi pada Smartphone Android

Abstrak

Wayang kulit is a form of performing arts that is very popular and favored by various levels of society in Java, especially in the regions of Central Java and East Java. Wayang kulit is performed by a puppeteer. The equipment needed by a puppeteer to demonstrate wayang kulit is a puppet box, banana debog, kelir, kepyak or keprak, blencong, and gamelan. Basically, from ancient times, the shadow puppet show was performed at night by the light of belincong / blencong, namely oil lamps (coconut oil - lenga klentik). The design is special, with a tip (beak) where the tip will light up the fire all night long. A cutter must also be aware of the condition of the blencong wick when it is dimmed, or even completely dead and the fire must not be too big. Along with the times, the function and meaning of belincong / blencong has shifted. The function of belincong / blencong as lighting for puppet shows has been replaced by a more modern, electric-powered lighting device that varies not only with neutral (bright) light shown. Based on this, the researcher took the initiative to make a lamp control (dimmer) that is easier, more practical and cost-effective using the NodeMCU ESP8266 based on the android smartphone application. The design and manufacture of this tool goes through several stages, namely making the device casing design and power driver circuit schematic, communication circuit, and interface application design. The second stage is making the casing of the tool, the circuits used to the interface application, then testing the tools and circuits separately or as a whole in one system. Based on the discussion and testing of the tool, it is concluded that the ESP8266 NodeMCU module works well as an Access Point receiving requests and also requesting commands when connected to a WiFi connection. The delay time sending the ON and OFF button commands to turn on or off as a whole on this tool uses an average time of 0.22 seconds.
